Earlier today my cell phone rang. Since I was in the middle of something with the kids and I didn’t recognize the number, I didn’t answer.
The message the caller left might be the highlight of my morning: “I’m so sorry, I have the wrong number. Have a wonderful day.” Here is why I love it…she had the option to hang up as soon as she realized she dialed incorrectly. She also could have left a brusque “Sorry, wrong number”, but instead she chose to take the time to wish me a nice day.
I love good people. I love kind people. This is a perfect lesson to teach my children. I will aim to pass this goodness on today.
Happy Thursday.
