I think part of being an Extraordinary Mommy is recognizing wisdom even when it comes from an unexpected place….like, say, a cartoon Turtle.
Cooper was watching a bit of Franklin today (on Noggin). Franklin was struggling to ride his bike and was sure he would never be able to do it. Mrs. Turtle’s response was, “I know you tried your best the other day, but maybe, your best has gotten better since then.” Don’t you just love it? I now have an answer…and a beautiful one at that, when my kids are discouraged and are sure their bst wasn’t good enough.
I love it. This is my inspiration for this morning!
