I was sitting in the doctor’s office today….and noticed something wonderful.
Simple, but wonderful. A teenage girl was in the waiting room with her mom. A woman in a wheelchair was trying to make it into the room. The teenager jumped up and held the door open. It probably doesn’t sound like much, but, I think it is special when you see someone give a little…especially a teen, since we are always hearing so much about the ‘me generation’ we fear.
I also know how grateful I am when someone holds a door for me, specifically when I am pushing a stroller!
Kudos to that teen’s parents and to all Extraordinary families doing their best to teach their kids how to be kind and generous!
