OK….here is my day:
It started at 6:30am. I’m a master at brokering toddler arguments, teaching the fine art of sharing, bargaining to get my kids to eat, and administering time-outs. This is all before 10am. In my world, it is raining, hailing and occaisionally thunderstorming. Yet, I still ventured out, with both kids to a (very fun) playdate. I have been ignored, unable to use the bathroom by myself, and, fortunately, hugged, kissed and ‘hold you, Mommyed’.
My husband’s day started considerably later than mine. He was greated by ’78 degree temperatures and a 10mph wind’. He is with his dad and his brother. When I last spoke to him, he was on his way in to watch the New York Yankees duke it out with the Boston Red Sox. He is eating what he wants and doesn’t have to worry about nap time. His dad and brother MIGHT be ignoring him, but I doubt it.
I wonder who is having more fun? 🙂
Hmmmm….so, I guess I can’t attribute my green day to St. Patrick. I think there just might be a little jealousy lurking around…. Oh to have some spring/70 degree days….
OK….I guess I’ll make it through….even if my kids can’t hear me (or choose not to), they do still give the best hugs and ‘kishes’!
